S5 4.2 FSI V8 with PES Supercharger

S5 lowered on 20

Bought new in 2007 and was originally awaiting RS5 spec to consider replacement however was disappointed with Audi's annoucement of another naturally aspirated engine so decided to force induct the S5

instead going for bigger power than the RS. I'd already lowered her on KW V2 coilovers, spaced out the stock wheels, remapped, Milltek Sport downpipes and non res cat back, BMC air filter, Sportec

pedals, a one-off RS brake upgrade (used B7 RS4 gear as RS5 wasn't launched at the time) and a Stratmosphere Short Shifter. So other than more power and the addition of some new wheels she'd already

had pretty much everything done and a few quid spent on her. After almost a year of research more power came via an Eaton based roots type supercharger supplied by PES Tuning from the USA. She went

from kicking out 350hp / 324lb-ft torque to 523hp (+166hp) / 457lb-ft (+133 lb-ft). A few months later I decided a water meth injection system was required so had a single port progressive aquamist

system installed. As you'll see from the pics it's shooting directly into top of the supercharger manifold ratehr than the pre tapped option for each port. This kept cost down but does just as good a

job. Next came the wheel upgrade, been looking for a long time as it's really difficult to find a decent set of wheels that suit this car without being to bling. Settled on a set of staggered Vossen

CV3's (at the time of writing the only set in the UK.) 20x9's front and 20x10.5's rear wrapped in Michelin's Pilot Super Sports. A few things left to finish the project off (as presently it stands)

... 1. cold air intake system to be designed 2. Need to find someway of overcoming the rear e-brake so I can have larger rear discs (they're lost in those wheels.) 3. Front brakes to get rear

ducting as they don't have any venting like the RS models and therefore don't last long on track.
