Well thought i'd give an update as to what i've been upto with RS...
Been meaning to remove a small annoying piece of metal which keeps hitting radiator. Is attached to turbo and is in a right awkward place. Had to remove lots...lol
This is what it all looked like before i started

Small annoying piece of metal bent backwards prior to removal

This is the small annoying piece of metal

Not sure if you can see damage caused to radiator in pic...

All good fun but piece of mind.

Have my parcels. So thought i'd get pics up.
Turbo Timer.
£25 from Germany. Bargain..

New discs. also a bargain £35..

Forge Dump valve. Bargain of the year £10 for job lot..

Flexi pipe joint. Had to get this as mine's frayed on original pipe. Was alot cheaper than buying a complete system. £55 rather than over £200 for new system

Exhaust wrap and metal ties.. £45 job lot.

Repaired radiator. £20.

So now have all bits to get RS fixed and back on the road. Hoping can get all fitted and hopefully M.O.T'd in time for next meet..

"Look at all them spare pennies you've saved on your counter top! Is that a universal turbo timer? I guess you are going to hard wire it rather then use a harness? Just asking as im lookin at getting one shortly."

"Well tried to get on with fitting of new parts etc this weekend but unfortunately the new flexi pipe needs to be welded in rather than just a straight forward bolt on. Would of been fine but for the fact of limited space. Pic of old flexi. New flexi As you may be able to see new flexi is longer than old also because original pipe had been modified i was limited as to where i could cut old pipe. But a quick weld and all will be fine . But on plus side managed to start fitting exhaust heat wrap. Before.. Got this far before running out of wrap. So once i get pipe welded nothing should hold me back from getting RS back on the road.
