Id say if there was enough people camping would we really have to worrie about one man hiding in the trees..... im sure there wasnt any mushies there the last time i went.... cant imagine there being a guy in the trees it is quiet remote..... glad a few know the place... it is popular so i cant imagine any problems.... keep it in mind and see what other peeps suggest....

Hi new to this place and although I dont do the camping bit very often the old bones dont like it I am happy to help out with a bit of planning and a reccie. I live near Cartmel so will have a look around to find somewhere that fits the bill. Assume the general requirements are car parking BBQ friendly and a bit of water to cool off in. Do you need a pub or do you want to chill by the tents with a few cans. At work for the next few weeks ( in London :x ) but will have a run out and take some pics next time. In the meantime I will get some links together for places I know.
