"Well bad news. I thought the flange was on snug but when driving today I parked up at work and inspected the area... I found a little oil around the flange and the sump which wasn't there the day before. It must be the gasket which is new. What options do I have? I got some oil sump sealant at hand which hopefully will work as its designed to seal the oil pan. I've also got some more gaskets on order.. also i've thought about getting it welded but its in a tricky place. Someone at work also mention Milliput which molds onto anything and sets rock hard and can withstand temps upto 130c my oil temp gets no higher then 93c. Hmmmmmmm... "

"Can you not remove the sump for welding? Had mine welded on RS. Just need to make sure who ever does weld it that's if you go that route that they also put baffle plates inside sump. I'd put pics of mine up but don't fancy removing sump. Either way good luck with it. "

The sump is an engine out job and will be a PITA to seal back up... supras have that reputation. I'd rather have the flange leak then the whole sump. I will have a bash with this sealant. It says you can use the sealant and gaskets together to make a good seal.

"Got my 45 degree adaptor today.. 3 days postage from Taiwan This time I covered the flange adaptor with gasket sealant put a new quality gasket on that and then gasket sealant onto the sump flange and tightened everything down. Hopefully this should stop any further leaks! Also just bought a Greddy RS bov so will weld this on next week once i've decided where to put it. All I need now is my exhaust. Im going to have to wait till pay day next Friday before I can get it but thats the last item thankfully so I can finally put the turbo on!!!! "

"Right just bought my new exhaust. So that completes the basics now to get my turbo on This one to be exact: Its a replica of the TRD Gen II. Constructed from 3"" diameter 316 series thick wall stainless tubing that is CNC mandrel bent. All welds are CNC robotic TIG and are beautiful. Thick stainless flanges that won't bend or crack. This is a direct bolt on exhaust that fits the stock hangers. It is checked for weld quality and finish prior to leaving the factory. Hardware and gaskets are included and it uses the original hanger locationsThis exhaust offers a huge flow improvement for your MKIV - replacing the much smaller diameter stock exhaust with this free flowing exhaust should yield 10-15HP for NA cars with headers And 20-25 for TT since the exhaust is much more free flowing. Once I get this hopefully Wednesday/Thursday (they are quite good with postage) its time to get all this sh*t bolted on taken long enough "
