bad news guys...the fez isnt feeling well Was experimenting with some different air filters yesterday and i think it sucked in some water....now its just in safe mode...doesnt rev above 3000 Going into Ford on Monday to be sorted out. This means im out for tonight..gutted

Oh crap well hope the car is feeling better on Monday pal and we will after look at my hoses next time. Shaun when I said I will bring you down pal I ment I would drop you back off at home again as Its a long walk home from Preston. :lol:

Safe mode mean you probably nackered the Air flow sensor or knocked the wiring.... not sure where they are on a Festa but have a look near throttlebody and check cable going to it diconnect them and reconnect them.... failing that ECU reset battery off for 45-mins bit longer if possible and then start back up dont rev it when starting it up just let it idle for 10-15mins.... works for Bravos and other cars cant see why not for a Festa....... ANyway how on earth did you suck water up...???
