The Blackpool Big One

The Blackpool Big One This event takes place once a year to raise funds for a selected charity a run throught the lights is organised with £5 donated from each car. The start location is from ScoobyteknixUK and the destination is at the Mc Donalds near Blackpool airport the event will take place on 18th October 2008. All proceeds will be donated to Alder Hey Hospital. Raffle prizes will be up for grabs on the night participating suppliers will be added to the list as they donate prizes. It has been pretty quiet this year regarding the Blackpool Big One so after the success of the last 3 years I have bitten the bullet and arranged a meet and run through the lights previously arranged by Frank and John to great success Id really like to do it for my chosen charity = Alder Hey hospital as they have done wonders with Eleanor (my six year old) who has a incurable illness we will be open from 8am on the day of the meet will start a 2pm and cars can arrive anytime after this refreshments will be available from 2pm we have a proffesional scooby owning motorbike Stunt rider Neil Porter doing displays in the afternoon we can draw the raffle around 6.00 and announce winner of scoob of the day departure from the estate will be at 6.45 we will be in a reasonably slow convoy with local cars dotted through the pack incase of seperation we will then proceed to Cleveleys lower promenade or near as for a final group together before entering the illuminations and for those who do not know where we are:- http://www.scoobyteknixuk.com/14.html[/url]http://www.scoobyteknixuk.com/14.html All funds will go to:- [url]http://www.imagineappeal.com/about/http://www.imagineappeal.com/about/ We will be doing it on the 18th October setting off from our place im going to be asking for a voluntary donation of £5 per car we will be donating raffle prizes as will some of our suppliers some of the prizes will include:- An autoglym valet pack kindly donated by martin (3PEAKESLEGACY) cheers m8 Bottle of Glenmorangie Whiskey kindly donated by Karl (skins21)
