The BMW 5 Series have been manufactured since 1972. The 5 Series is a mid size executive car and is available in sedan and touring body styles. The series was called the five series because it was the fifth in the new series of cars after V-8 model era.
The 5 Series uses an active steering system that controls the front and rear wheels. This means that the rear wheels point in the opposite direction to the front at low speeds, but point in the same direction at higher speeds. This results in a tighter turning circle and helps when changing lanes on motorways. The exterior receives mixed reviews. The 5 Series have a swooping nose and includes twin lens headlights. The models include run flat tyres that make the ride feel firm.
The cabin of the 5 Series is tailored toward the driver. The instrument panel is angled towards the driver. This adds to the driver’s driving experience. The car is spacious, but what is unusual is that the rear seats do not fold down. This would help increase the size of the boot, which would benefit the driver and the passengers. The longer wheelbase results in more leg room for rear passengers. The seats are firm and supportive, so you will have a comfortable ride, even on long journeys. The model is one of the tallest cars in its range, which results in plenty of head shoulder room. The interior is not as impressive as other vehicles. For example, the heater controls look cheap
