The BMW X5 was first introduced in 1999 and is a luxury crossover SUV. The model features all wheel drive and is available in either manual or automatic transmissions. The manual option was dropped from the 2006 model and onwards. BMW stated that the X5 is actually an SAV, (Sport Activity Vehicle), to emphasize the modes on road ability.
The X5 comes equipped with electric seats, climate control, a multifunction steering wheel, parking distance control and cruise control as standard. The adjustable electric front seats ensure the driver and front passenger always have a comfortable driving experience. The cabin is wide and the front armrest also add to the comfortable driving experience. Headroom in the front and rear of the car is adequate and rear passengers have enough legroom to ensure they also have a comfortable ride. There is minimal body roll and is quick and responsive on the motorway.
